"Instead of asking yourself why the same things always happen to you, ask yourself why you always choose the same paths." -Velos
In the picture we see a person at the bottom of the road that reminds us of Little Red Riding Hood. It seems that it crosses a forest where the trees prevent to see the sky. Maybe to be able to see the sky it is necessary to try a different path.
So many times we blame circumstances for what happens to us without considering that we may have to change some destructive pattern in our behavior. It is vital for a survivor to learn to "tie ends" between abuse and its consequences in the present. And for that it is necessary to talk, find support and gradually explore or build new paths with which to be a little freer every time.
